The Upper Owens River is finally showing us what it can do in the winter time!  Large specimens are finally up in the system in decent numbers.
All throughout the system fish are congregating in the deepest holes,  runs, dropoffs, and Eddies.  The fish seem to be all along the public section as high as you can go.  Don’t be afraid to fish larger Attractor nymphs here up to #12; Copper Jons,  SJ worms,  PT’s,  leggy stoneflies and the like..  Be prepared for a good fight as they will try to find a way under every bank and put strange angles on your wand making it difficult to keep them buttoned up.  Streamers fished correctly will also do damage when fished so the fish are not spooked.  Stay tuned for more amazing fish to come out of this quality water!
