Drift Boat Trips

Fishing out of a hard bottom classic wooden driftboat is a very pleasurable way to meander down a river while easily arriving at the best, and least accessed holes to try your skill against wild brown and rainbow trout.

Float trips can take place at any time of the year depending on the flow rate of the river. We will be fishing out of the boat while anchored, exiting the boat to fish, and doing some fly fishing while drifing down the river depending on the condition at the time. Clients come back to try the drift trip a second and third time to experience different sections of the Lower Owens and have access to trout not seen from the shore.
