Just down the road from Mammoth Lakes CA the Lower Owens River meanders thru the Owens Valley which actually received rain yesterday!! Fish were rising sporadically to very small mayflies and generally acting a bit skiddish with the onset of this storm system.  Attractor nymphs with small Mayfly patterns below took fish consistently.  Wind picked up in the afternoon to accompany the rain.
